In Ayruvedic Philosophy, Springtime is the time of new birth. It is the time when sleeping buds bloom and young animals are birthed. It is also a time that we awaken from the coma of winter. The time is now to shed the winter and all of its associated blues, weight and sluggishness. Our diet and activites should follow suit into a new birth so to speak.
Springtime is truly exciting! Life up your weary winter head and bask in the sun of the revival of life after the cold, grey of winter. Get out and take walks to breath in the fresh Spring air. Change up your diet from heavy, fat laden foods we crave in the winter, to the crisp, fresh Spring shoots, sprouts and berries. I have added a suggestion here to assist you with your revival:
